As of May 12th 2016, unannounced changes were made by Google effecting libraries of their mapping code and the hosting that our programs rely on.
As a result, your maps module (or Live Tab) within our dispatch solutions may not be currently displaying maps. This affects all client-server dispatch installations with Google Maps between versions 5 - 7.
This does NOT affect SafeNet.
A fix has been developed as a PATCH application that clients can run / apply themselves easily.
For all customers who have issues with the map display, using dispatch application in between versions 5-7, please download one of the two PATCH files from the links below (see which one helps):
1. Extract "SafeMobile Google Maps patch" zip archive
2. From within "SafeMobile Google Maps patch" folder extracted, run "SafemobileMapPatch.exe"
"SafemobileMapPatch.exe" file must be in the same directory with "mapsgoogle5.zip" and "mapsgoogle7.zip" archive files.
3. Click "Apply patch"
NOTE: Dispatcher application must be running when you apply the patch, and restarted after the patch has been applied. The Patch application will provide step-by-step on-screen instructions.
If the PATCH application did not help in your case, allowing TeamViewer access to the affected computer will allow us to help you as quickly as possible, by submitting a support ticket at firstname.lastname@example.org
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and our team is standing by to assist you now.
Thank you for your patience during the maintenance window.
